After two years of silence, Musician MzVee is back and tells her story of why she went silent.

According to her, she left Lynx and the music scene due to the depression she suffered.

Speaking on her depression, the “I don’t know” hit maker told Andy Dosty on Hitz 103.9 FM that she didn’t do counseling but family and friends helped her.

“Because I’m known, I have this scare of opening up to people I don’t know so the best route is to talk to family…Efya also very helpful”, she said.

MzVee also disclosed that her performance on the Miss Malaika stage two years ago was going to be her last.

“I was hospitalized, I was just so depressed it made me feel sick” but she had to go perform. “I knew it was going to be my last performance so I just wanted to do it and say my good bye”, she narrated.

She however refuted claims that she was pregnant and also had issues at her formal label.

The dancehall artiste is out with a new one, “Sherrif” which is a smooth reggae tune with Jamaican vibes.
